Since 2002 EL ROYCE plays a loud rock influenced mainly by the old school pioneers and a pinch of new talents, in a punk/indy way.

The band is based in west france's city Nantes, and has sligtly changed its line-up since its beginnings. Richard Verdon (vocals and bass), Pascal Félicité (guitar) know each other for some time, having played together or separatly on various stages.

They meet Yann Faurie (drums) via internet, who had left his town Clermont-Ferrand in center France for a couple of years in London, UK.

From then, the power rock trio manages to record in a "DIY way" a first demo called Diesel.

As a live act, the El Royce's combo delivers its true power : louder-than-life amps, catchy riffs, breaktrough drums. A second demo is recorded live in 2004.
Pascal leaves the band in 2005, and the quest for a new guitarist ends with the find of...a bass player !

Steff Desideri, already known by Richard from a previous combo, joins the band and its then time for "the Royce" to move back to its first love, the guitar.

During this year 2005, the band records for the first time since its creation in proper conditions at the Audiocapsule recording studio the tracks you're probably listening to right now.
The EP has been released on March 2006, you can order your copy in the shop section now ! and read some (not always) raving reviews and critics on our media page and EP reviews
