The album starts with the "song" Icarus which is an intro to Ambrosia. Alesana tend to have the intro for the songs in the end of the previous song. I think that this is a good thing since you want the intro when listening to the whole CD but just want the song without the intro when just picking a song you want to listen to individualy. The bad thing is if you want to repeat a song. Then the intro in the end gets a bit of annoying.
The songs are very well written and are really emotional and meaningful. My favourite song has to be Alchemy Sounded Good At The Time. The songs are variating but also follows a sound that is synonymous to Alesana. The only song I don't like is the acoustic version of Apology and it isn't really that bad, only when you compare it to the other songs.
It's a really good CD. 10/10
